Hm, stringy? I think I see what you're saying... More striking to me is his tail angle. In those pictures, he seems to hold his tail lower, more straight out than up, as compared to my pure OEGB boys. Much like how a Phoenix rooster holds his tail. :)
He must have phoenix in him. I looked at his tail feathers, & he still has growing shafts. I'm happy about that. I wanted a long tailed chicken.
He definitely has a lower tail carriage, & is a bit bigger then my OEGB rooster.

Good boy!! :clap I love the second picture with the Silkie hen looking out the door like, 'Can we come out yet?' :lol:
