bantam cochens, all roos?

hi, on a whim I bought some lavender bantam Cochin's, I could only get seven, and I know they are not very good quality but was entirely enthralled by the color. I have never seen it before!
unfortinatly they are only two or three weeks old (feathers just starting to come in on some) and I cought one crowing this morning when my big roo sounded off. and that was one I thought would be a hen. sigh. I am thinking I have ALL roos. they may be a little young, but have a look and see what you think! see if you can pick out the little crower!
(PS not sure what that yellow color is on them in the pics, its not visible when I look at them, may be an artifact from the window)

They all look like males, one of them in the very middle possibly could be a pullet but I doubt it. Those combs are pretty pronounced as they always are on the little male cochins. Good luck with the lavs it's a beautiful color.

I'd guess the little crower is on the far left in the picture

probably the wrong place for this, but does anyone know of where i can buy more of them? maybe a little better quality at least? (and hopefully get some GIRLS this time!)

I know someone is selling eggs pretty resonable on Eggbid. A friend of mine won 8 eggs the person send 14 including another variety. I set his eggs for him and 8 are fertile, that's great for shipped eggs. Just an idea

Those are some cute little babies. I can't believe one is crowing already. How adorable is that?

If you can't find some hens, you could probably breed them to black since it is easier to find high quality black hens. Then of course, if you bred the F1 generation together, you would then get more lavenders. It might be a faster route to getting good type then trying to start with all lavender.
