Bantam Cochin hen or roo?

I asked about this little one a couple months ago and everyone thought girl. Her tail is growing and has me a bit worried. Maybe it’s just her fluff ball growing in? Hatched early Feb. Thank you!

Thank you! I just wanted to double check. My only other bantam Cochin was a slow grower and wasn’t this red until 6 months and didn’t lay an egg until 10 months so not a great comparison, I’m sure.

Do you have a link to your earlier post? This is our first time with bantam cochins, and we're having a very hard time sexing one of them! She's much redder than the others.

Thank you! She actually came from Ideal Hatchery! I’m currently growing out some breeder quality bantam Cochins now and hoping they are even prettier.

Totally understand. I feel like she got so much redder a lot quicker than my other bantam Cochin pullet and it’s throwing me off!
