Bantam Cochin thread

Pictures of my beautiful boy, Scuba. He's gorgeous, sweet, and takes great care of his ladies!

Handsome guy!! With the exception of a couple overly-fiesty Red Cochins I've had, my Cochin bantam boys have pretty consistently been great roosters! My guy Gus at 8 months old is the same way, and he even loves (or maybe just tolerates? ) a good wattle rub every now and then, too.

He's a cutie too! Scuba is almost 8 mo old as well. I had another roo, who was really mean and always attacked me, so I am a little skittish about handling Scuba. But I don't think he'd harm me, just haven't worked up the nerve to pick him up/handle him yet! He follows me around the yard though, it's cute

Aw, haha, he sounds like a cutie! I definitely understand with being more hands-off with roosters, I usually don't handle mine much if at all and usually they kind of keep their distance, too. Gussy runs up to me almost every day when I walk past the pen he and his girls are in, though, and I just can't resist that little fuzzball

Yup, I have silkie-feathered Reds. They can be a bit feisty compared to my Blacks, but they're softies deep down, I swear.
