Bantam Cochin thread.

I picked up Lady Bird as an "impulse" buy yesterday! I had picked out my birds at the breeder, and then she handed me this one and said, "You'll thank me later." I had never considered Cochins, but dangit it if that breeder wasn't right... this little mottled snuggle bug is wonderfully addicting!

Is Lady Bird actually LBJ? Somewhere around 4 weeks, and this morning I noticed these wattles! (First pic taken today, second a few days ago.)

Here is Lady Bird (LBJ?) again, at about 6 weeks old, maybe 7 weeks. Any thoughts on gender? The red in the wattles and comb showed up very suddenly, but there hasn't been any growth or change for several weeks now. Posture is 100% pullet, but we had one incident when I tried to pick her/him up and I got pecked!
