Bantam Cochin X Barred Rock chick has bald spot.

He's 1 1/2 weeks old and he's developed this small bald spot on his left side on his back. It's not irritated, red or damaged in anyway. eating,drinking and pooping okay He does have pin feathers coming in next to the site. I am pretty new to chickens but it seemed odd to me that he is getting wing, tail and back feathers at the same time.
Do I need be concerned?

It's fine......they can have various 'baldish' spots as they grow in new feathers.
The feathers grow in at different spots at the same time or separate times
They will have several molts before they are about 6 months old.
The funniest one is at about 3-4-5 weeks old......
.....they can look really bedraggled with a mix of chick down, bald spots, and big new feathers.

Thank you. He's my very first hatched baby. Guess I didn't notice as much on mommy and the girls (10 of them ) now I have three to focus on. He's a hoot.
