Bantam Cochins.. Any hope for a cockerel?

Yup. Bought 5 from the white silkie bin. Got 5 males and the only keeper was a red Cochin that was in the silkie bin.
Cutest little bugger too. My son had him well trained.

I think really, they have a way of training us! That is training us to love them... they make it so danged easy lol!

I love my Bantam roosters! The two littlest guys let me carry them, fly up to me, follow me.... they are adorable! And the now middle guy use to do that too. He's growing up so he's not so much into being coddled and chasing me for attn. He hangs with the older guys. And then there's the oldest Bantam. There's no way he'd let me coddle him, but he definitely listens well to what I say. The first time he didn't, I picked him up and held him. No problems since. To be fair, he was still adjusting to being here.

They are so cute & why I prayed one of you would tell me I had a rooster in the making.. !
I love all the stories people share about their chickens. Makes me feel like I'm not alone here in my obsession.. lol. Thanks for sharing!

No fair, all girls! My last batch of 20 bantams left me with 3 girls, and of the 7 Cochins only 1 pullet!!

Isn't that the way lol! You wanted pullets & I wanted cockerels. I think they mixed our orders up! haha
