Very sorry for your loss. Affection does that to ya, you get attached to the cute babies. I know how you feel, I've lost babies that I was very attached to before also, but I lost one when she was a couple months (but still tiny cuz she was a bantam). I was very sad that day. You always have the BYC community, think of it as thousands of shoulders to lean on

I saw a fuzzy head peeping out from under Jessica just now! I hope she brings them out of the nest soon. She was sitting on two Cochin bantam frizzle eggs and I'm anxious to see if they hatch with her other eggs. The Cochin frizzle hen is setting on five of her own eggs, too. I hope they all all hatch!

Hello everyone. At the start of yesterday I had 3 cute, cuddly and sweet Bantams. But sadly I lost my Bluebell yesterday afternoon. Not sure what happened but at least I was holding her wrapped up and loved as she took her last breath. Man never knew that a 6 days old chick should make me cry for hours.
