BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stonefrost, male Cochin/brahma bantam
(He looks like a light brahma, his father is a buff brahma)

Icewing, female 3/4 Cochin 1/4 brahma blue bantam

They are 3 1/2 weeks old
I"m so glad you posted pics, mine are almost that age too and it helps to see that comb color. Yours are so pretty. Love the names too.

I meant are you keeping any roos. I'm keeping one for my new bantam bunch but I don't know how many I'll end up with to choose from.

I love my blue!! Hoping it's a she! I know I've got a handful of partridge, and was told a few of them are possibly Mille fluer/calico... in for sure that I have a couple partridge Roos which I'm excited about. Most of the others are appearing to be female for the moment!
I have one standard girl partridge and so far I am loving her. She is such an awkward cute shape and is developing so slowly with cute wings and all kinds of fluff. She stands really tall too.

I have two bantam Cochins and two silkies that are 25 weeks old. One of them started laying last Saturday and today another one states laying! Just trying to figure out whats coming from who. Is the brown egg the Cochin and the light cream the silkie? Also the one I found today had a little blood on it, is this normal for a pullets first egg?

What colors are your hens? Some blood is normal as the cloaca stretches out. I think all silkies lay white eggs regardless of color, but I'm not positive. I believe the brown egg is from a cochin. My blacks lay eggs that color.

I have a black and a Cochin mix that I'm not sure what color she is?!
