BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you all can help me...
I have 6-10 week old pullets of different breeds ( ee, sussex, maran, delaware and a cochin).
My cochin is half the size of the rest of them. Is it possible I got a bantam on accident?

Yep, if they're all the same age she looks bantam, she looks real sweet :love

My Splash Bantam Cochin hatched 3 little chicks, they were not there yesterday. She is bred to my Bantam Cuckoo Chocolate Orpington, they will all be Cuckoo Barred as he has been throwing Cuckoo to all his chicks no matter what the mother is.

Congrats on the pretty babies!!! Still have 20 of your eggs in the incubator going strong!!!!

I hatched two bantam cochin eggs (from my flock) recently. The eggs were the size of a bantam egg, but the chicks are the same size as my Dominique chick... the bantam cochin hens are in the same flock with 2 bantam cochin roos, and 1 LF roo, so I just figured the dad would be one of the two bantam roosters. But since the chicks are all the same size... is the dad the LF rooster?

Can I put a one month old chick out in the coop with my 2 6 month old silkies and 2 bantam Cochins?

Just one chick?

I would have them in seperate pens so they can see each other for a while and then if al goes well put them together and see what happens.
I have 2 five week old chicks in with 5 two week old chicks, I didn't originally plan to put them together but they got along fine.

4 week shots of my five.

Felix my first little roo. Mottled Cochin.

Hope on the left, hopefully a pullet. And suspect roo on the right. You can't see very well here but he/she has pink wattles too.

how old are the d'Uccle? Mine is about 7 weeks but his comb got red FAST at about 3 weeks.

Really? They are almost 5 wks now and flora's comb is bigger but not any different in color. I'm leaning toward Pullet.

She got out of the brooder yesterday and when I went into the basement she walked around the corner to me yelling until I picked her up. Then she quieted down while I told her everything would be ok and she told me all about it. Then I plopped her back in and she was fine. It was hysterical.
