bantam cochins in winter?

Hello! I live in Michigan and it can get super cold down here. There’s always lots of snow. I have one white leghorn hen and one ISA brown and they both do great in the winter. However I want to get two or three more soon. Do you think this is a good idea to get some Bantam cochins? How would their feet do with snow?

I am in Wisconsin and mine do good. Their feathers act like snow shoes. Lol

I’m not in the north, but I have bantam cochins, and they seemed to do good last winter. They’re super fluffy, so I’m thinking that probably helps in the cold. (BTW, I love my little bantam cochins They’re the sweetest little birds. They really don’t mind being picked up and carried around, even when they’re feeling broody. But they do go broody pretty often. I still love them though )

do you don’t think it would be a problem if their feet got wet? it doesn’t get very muddy by my coop though, we live at a very high spot so we don’t flood.

I don’t know. Their feet only really get wet when it down pours. When it is just snow they stay pretty dry.
