Bantam Cochins

I have 1 black frizzle bantam pullet cochin and 3 splash bantam cochins ( I think all pullet but not sure yet). What color rooster should i breed the black frizz to? How much can i sell the offspring for ? And the splash?

If you breed black to splash this will produce 100% blue
If you breed splash to splash you will produce 100% splash
You can also breed black to black and produce 100% Black

I personally would not cross into anything but blue, splash or black.

As far as selling that really depends on quality and age.

I agree that the value of the offspring is based on quality. I measure that against the breed SOP (standard of perfection). Generally it won't sell for much unless of show/breeder quality.
