Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have right now 8 bantam cochins ranging in ages from 2 months to 6 months. When should my females be ready to breed and lay eggs. I am extremely happy with them and can't wait to get more. My one female names missy is a blue /splash color and would love to have babies from her. So how much longer do I have to wait.
