how did you get your rescues? whenever i try to get a rescue there are only roosters. great love for rescues!!!

I bought them from a farm that kept them in crowded horse stalls.

Pearl, a 3 month old white crested cuckoo Polish top hat bantam. She was rescued from a grow out pen where males and non-Polish were attacking her head. We got the swelling down and the feathers are starting to grow back, and she’s becoming a spoiled brat.

Oh poor baby!

I HAVE to test out this hairstyle on my Silkies! Last time I tried ponytails, they began to undo after a few hours and looked more like man buns than anything.

You're a great chicken parent.

Given it's so difficult to style those poofs without also hoisting up their eyelids, a haircut doesn't sound half bad.
