Hi my name is Linda, and I saw you have call ducks, do you sell them? What color is your favorite that I will like? What do you feed them, can they swim? Do you keep them in your house or can they stay outside? I have small grandchildren would they be aggressive and attack or bite them? What kind of call duck do I need a pet or show quaility? Can you give me all the information or advice on this duck?
Oh my sweet jesus, at one point I was spending a 8 hours responding to emails and 4 hours to phone calls, not just on call ducks, but turkeys, geese, and what ever else they woke up and decided they wanted to buy, breed or hatch, I kid you not!! I had one person call and want advice and information on cows, do you see any cows on my webpage?? I am not a vet or have I ever raised darn cows, LOL. I am always polite and will help anyway possible to customers or even potienal customers, but one day I had a emotional day with family sickness and death, and somebody called asking to me "STUPID QUESTIONS", and I have 500 critters to tend, along with college classes, family, a farm & garden, and god knows what else around here, I have to schedule potty time, but I was probally rude by saying "Listen you found me on the internet, so I know you can GOOGLE!! Click, end of conversation. I have spent hours upon hours googling and researching, along with reading books, to find out how, what, when, and where, how hard is it to use Google search ingine? Just like the BYC forum, I was googling looking for some critter information, and up popped BYC forum and discussion, I know it is time consuming but if you want critters you need to have time. Now don't no one take offense to this, I am not talking about dissussing and helping each other on here it is different than 500 emails to answer, the one on one inquiring minds want to know is done got old to me, find you a message board and join, make friends, share experiences, get a life, LOL.
