Bantam frizzled grey/blue EE?

At first I assumed this was a bantam Cochin, but it occurred to me that he has a pea comb when he started getting the rusty colored feathers on the wings, and now his hackles. I'm wondering if EEs can have heavily feathered feet that are dark slate, almost black down the center front. Any ideas?

Not an EE or a purebred cochin. That is a rose comb. He is a frizzled cochin mix.

Oh wow, very cool thank you. I had always thought the rose comb was lumpier, I've never seen one in person.

Rose combs can be smooth or bumpy. I suppose it could even be a walnut comb.

I'll have to get a better look at it tomorrow. I'm considering him as a breeder with a splash Cochin, wondering what the mystery breed influence may be. He has an excellent disposition.
