Granny's gone and done it again

Morning all!!
Good morning! It's another cloudy, damp, chilly day here. I managed to get all the chickens fed and watered this morning before the rain set in again. I opened a couple of the coops to let them free range today, hopefully they are smart enough to go back in when it rains. In the mean time I'm going to continue going through a box of old pictures and try to identify people and dates. My Daughter in law is going to scan them for me. We are having chili for lunch and I'm thinking pork chops, sweet potatoes and a fresh tomato for supper. (dinner for you northerners). Hope all of you have a great day.

Morning everyone hope y'all are doing well
I'm just feeling drained
Take care and have a nice day 💕

My momma was a southerner born and raised. I may have been born in Illinois but I still call it supper. I was surprised when we moved to Missouri the southern influence in our area. Kirksville, 16 miles to the north and in Adair county is strictly 'northern'. While Macon in Macon County where we live is very southern. Southern drawl, Southern friendliness. Every time we go there we realize that we are really Southerners at heart.
