My mille-fleur bantam might have coxy, but I'm not sure. Symptoms are: not eating, but drinking a lot of water, standing around slightly ruffling feathers up. She also had a runny dark green poo this morning. When I picked her up it sounded like she may have grunted/wheezed slightly. She is a very friendly bird, and was acting 100% normal yesterday, including laying an egg. She is currently molting and growing her feathers back in. I have given her amprolium to drink this morning and she has been drinking that. If it is coxy, how long until she will start improving? Later on today I can weigh her if need be....any help would be appreciated.
