Bantam mottled cochin: Pullet?

Gorgeous pullet. :) Goodness, she would've thrown me for a loop had you posted at 7 weeks! Just goes to show, simply because a youngster acquires red comb/wattles during the "dangerous" time period doesn't necessarily make it male. There are always exceptions to this rule, like your girl.

I'm so glad I have an exception, lol!

What do I think? I think I want a bantam mottled cochin! She is stunning!!!!:love
Lol! And she's so sweet too. She always comes up to me making little noises to be picked up. My EEs surprisingly don't want me to even touch them. When she was little she took forever to get feathers. One more reason I thought she was a cockerel! So when they started not needing any heat and were out in the coop, I worried about her staying warm. She was so far behind the others in getting feathers. When I'd go out on cooler days she'd hop up in the crook of my arm and fall asleep. I'd, of course, cover her with my other hand so she could feel a bit toasty. She was always in the middle of the 5 when they roosted so that was good. I have a camera in the coop, hehe.
