Now some of the hatchery R.I. Reds have "odd" genes that shouldn't be there do to hatcheries crossing the R.I. Red with the Leghorns to add to there egg production.
When speaking about the Large Fowl Rhode Island Red as a Breed is very well documented in its breeding and history.
Now when speaking about the Bantam Red there are some line e+/E^Wh based and not eWh/eWh.
