Bantam RIR's anyone have any.

The local guy who took my 2 spare RIR roosters had bantam RIR but they got that way because a couple generations back he had a bantam rooster and standard hens. He wanted to breed them back to standard because he wanted bigger eggs again. But otherwise he had no complaints.

I just got the trio L&S had, my XDH's 2nd DW and I are sharing:) We won't be ready for some time to share as I get my eggs first for hatching and then she will hatch to increase and about that time, we'd be ready to share once the young ones begin laying and we've got our flocks going.

We two ladies are very excited about sharing our first RIR bantams and our first grandbaby (grandson), what a way to start the New Year, Huh?!

I have just recently purchased a rooster and 3 hens. They are great little birds. I am just wondering why they are not laying all of my full size chickens have started to lay, after our -60 degree winter in Wisconsin, anyone know why?
