I have a 14 week old Bared Old English Game Roo who is just starting to feel his oats. He has the rest of the bantams dominated. He has started to try to dominate the Buff Orps and the Black Australorps. The BA's just want to get along and get out of his way but the Buff Orps have a different idea. One of the BO's cleaned his clock this afternoon and he settled down a bit. Is it even possible for a small roo to even mate with a large hen? Will the BO's learn to submit to him? This small roo has a great bit of heart.

Our Japanese Bantam Roo has fathered lots and lots of babies with standard hens. He outruns the fat girls in the yard and catches them !! The babies are usually a medium size chicken. The little banty roos are hysterical !

I have the absolute sweetest OEGB Roo. He cocks his head to give me the 'eye' and purrs. He's such a doll. Let's me pick him up, sits on my shoulder...I sure hope he stays this sweet. I got him at a fair so I'm not sure how old he was, but Lady Gwen just started laying, so I'm guessing he's also around 20 weeks or so. The OEGB hens lay the most beautiful tiny cream eggs! Now that I know I'd like to get more - they are so pretty.
