Bantam Rooster a Threat?

Also, the sebright and my welsummer are still getting along fine. There has yet to big a major stand off between them, but I don't think the sebright could stand a chance. He's not intimidated by the bigger rooster, but he certainly can't match him pound for pound.

I ended up keeping both of mine. I had people interested but I took the ad down and just kept them. They are 15 weeks now. I see them try to start trouble but the bigger chickens put them in their place. They've never tried anything with my rooster. We will see how they are in a few weeks when hormones really kick in. They already try to get friendly with the full size hens but it never ends well lol they've not chased a person yet. Hopefully it stays that way!

Our chickies are the same age! And mine too are trying to get friendly with the hens, but it rarely ends in love. That being said, the bantam rooster is definitely the better love maker, as he is lighter and more agile. The big rooster is still a bit of an oaf.

ha! Poor little guy. What I don't get is I have two sebright hens (same age) and neither sebright roo pays any attention to them. They are only interested in the silkie and the full size chickens. Maybe that'll change as they get older.
