Bantam rooster balance problems

So sorry that she is dying. She looked like she was pretty advanced in her pictures. What symptoms are you seeing in the rest? Have you checked your feed for mold or a bad odor? Are they having respiratory symptoms, are they imabalanced, having diarrhea, or crop problems? Tell us what they are doing? Amoxicillin is only available through a vet or online. Are they eating and drinking?

My hen is almost dead. Others appear sick as well. Rooster still off balance. But the hens are in terrible shape. Can I get amoxicillin at tractor supply? I know I can get Corid there. I’m afraid I’m gonna lose the the whole flock. I’ve started them on electrolytes and probiotics. Also used DE because the sickest hen appears to be infested with mites
I'm so sorry that she is in poor shape.

Since you have others that are sick, can you get some poop photos and possibly picture of them too?
I agree, check your feed to make sure it has no mold. Has your flock had access to anything rotting like a compost pile?

You mention the sickest hen(s) are infested with mites. I'm sorry for DE is not going to get rid of an infestation. You need to pick up some Permethrin poultry dust or spray and treat them asap. Get some new bedding while your at it - their housing needs to be cleaned out and treated as well.

Either of these can be used to treat the Mites.

DE can be irritating to their breathing and eyes as well as not treating mites or lice. Permethrin is what is needed as what WR has said.

I'm sorry to hear you lost 2 hens:hugs
Can you take a fecal sample to your vet for testing?
What do you feed the chickens?
It's good that poops look better, if you can get a photo that would be great.

That loss of balance in the rooster looks neurological, it could be from a number of things. Marek's comes to mind, but these are older birds correct? Toxins, moldy feed, incorrect nutrition are other things that come to mind.

Check your feed to see if it's moldy. I would stop all scraps and feed a nutritionally balanced poultry feed. Get some poultry vitamins into him as well. I would use Rooster Booster Poultry Cell - personally, I would direct dose him for about 4 days at 1cc per 3 pounds of weight, then cut back to 2 times a week.

If you have never wormed your birds, that's something to consider doing. You can find Safeguard liquid goat wormer (Fenbendazole) at Tractor Supply. Dose is .23ml per pound of weight given orally for 5 days.
