Bantam Rooster died out of nowhere

I agreed with @Eggcessive, there is no way to know what happened unless you send him in for a necropsy.
Most all chickens have purple/darker colored faces and combs after death. Its a normal thing and doesn't necessary show a specific disease.

Do you feed any treats? If so, how often and how much? What type of feed do you feed them?
so, they have treats about once a day, just average scraps and corn, banana, banana peel.
they eat chick grower I believe, they are in with some slightly younger chicks, so we feed them the chick crumbles

I am so sorry :hugs :hugs It is really hard to lose a chicken, especially the special ones.

Chick crumbles are good. I feed my whole flock starter their entire lives.

How much corn to how many birds?
so, there was 10 of them, now 9, 6 production reds, 2 silkies, 2 black japanese bantams, and not too much corn
Maybe a handful of corn in total for each feeding, and not daily
plus they mainly ate banana and banana peel, corn was more of an uncommon treat although they did get corn quite a bit, and thats corn from a can that im talking about, 1-2 times we just threw in a full corn

thank you, it is really difficult, im glad I have my other chickens, I just hope I can keep them safe from whatever happened to him

Yes, I had A chicken randomly die off the roost bar, but I had already buried her when I remembered I couldve and her in for a necropsy, and I don't want to dig her up. Its really hard.
