Bantam Rooster

I'm looking for a Bantam rooster that won't fight with my bantam polish rooster. This breed needs to be friendly,make a good pet,and be easy to breed.

Add a young boy if you are looking for another rooster. That way he grows up knowing your original rooster is boss.

Well I can't really put a new rooster in now but I'll be ordering from Ideal Poultry next February or March. I just like to know what and when I going to do things ahead of time. Any more suggestions?

i have a japanes bantum roo who is the sweetest thing!! although he does have "little roo"syndrome as i like to call it. he gets along with all the other breeds i have.

Let us know where you are located, there is always someone that has too many roosters.
You'd be surprised, they may just be around the block from you!

I've found that every rooster will fight with a polish rooster. No matter the breed. They just don't like that poofy head. I've tried bantam cochins, silkies, OEGBs, serama, japanese bantams, and d'uccles. The only rooster that didn't fight with my polish was a bantam brahma. They were best buds The d'uccles were actually pretty nice, also.

So, my recomendation would be:

1 - bantam brahma
2 - d'uccle

I find the same thing with my silkie cockerels and my Houdan cockerel. None of the other breeds of chickens like the fufu boys
