Would a bantam roo's crow be loud enough to wake you up? I don't know if this is posted in the right section, but it's a behavior....so....yeah. Please help me!

I think so, I have several little Bantam roosters and they have quite a set of lungs in them. especially when they fly up and sit on your shoulder to crow. Makes your ears ring.

Yes, my bantam rooster wakes me up constantly if the windows are open, and he is about 150 feet from the house closed in a coop. He's very loud and crows all day long. Much more than my standard roosters. Just cause they're small, doesn't mean they're quieter (unfortunately)!

My bantam Silkie rooster crows loud enough from inside the hen house to wake my rather grouchy older neighbor...It is actually quite a problem for us. If you are hoping for quiet don't get ANY kind of rooster!

Yes, Bantams can crow very loudly. And mine all tend to have a shriller crow than the nice deep standards' crows.

I have to agree with the above posters - my two bantam sizzles have an ear piercing crow which they LOVE to show off. I like my marans much better ...
