Meyer Hatchery sells a few select breeds and colors of sexed bantams.
Mainly just certain Cochins and buff Brahmas.
The cost is $10 for pullets.
At that price the sexing better be at least 90% accurate!
I’ve heard sexed bantams can be had from My Pet Chicken also.

Need to look into Meyers ... My Pet Chicken doesn't ship here (HI) Thank you for the info:hugs

I looked on their website and it says they do ship standard and bantam chicks to Hawaii but the shipping fee is $60 for 3-14 chicks.
And there’s a bit of paperwork but it doesn’t sound too difficult.
Sounds like if you only want a few you should see if others want to order with you.
I really like the 12 I got from them in July.

How much smaller are bantam eggs compared to standard hens?
A good question.
My bantam eggs have been weighing in at 1.2-1.3 ounces.
By comparison, my LF eggs are anywhere from 1.8-2.6 ounces.

Here’s a couple of photos.
The brown egg is from my red sex link hen, Red. It is considered a “Jumbo” sized egg at 2.6 ounces. The white egg is store bought and weighed 2.1 ounces.
All 4 bantam eggs in the photos weigh 1.2 ounces.
