Bantams breeds good with kids

I have a child that LOVES our little bantam. He totes her around the yard and sings to her, etc. She totally doesn’t mind- and when she does she won’t let him catch her or flies off. Anyways- I was wondering what other bantam breeds would be good for kids? I’d like to add a few for him to our flock next year, and so she’s not the only one in the flock

Cochins and silkies are gentle bantam breeds.

Try d'Anvers and Cornish bantams. The roosters of both are very friendly in my experience. I had a cornish boy that would just stand there and let be do belly rubs

Bantam Cochins are wonderful little cuddle bugs. My friend’s daughter used to hold ours and pet them when she was 6-7 years old.

I was thinking silkies would be fun- but I’d have to research keeping them healthy with their silky feathers and winter, etc....

They are more prone to external parasites in my experiences, and are constantly broody. Even in the dead of winter. They do require a bit of extra maintenance.
