I’ll look right nowMille Fleur and blue gold are also usually pretty. Golden necks are gorgeous
I like the red pyles (white with gold trim around the neck). The BB reds and silver duckwings are also pretty. It's too bad they sold out of most of the fancy colorsUgh, all of those are sold out. Are red Pyle pretty? They also have barred, black breasted red, and maybe a few others. They are sold out of so many.![]()
I think the gold necks are pretty. It's like Mille Fleur, except the speckles are all white instead of black and white. The partridge cochins are nice too.I found golden neck d’ Uccles and blue laced red Wyandottes bantams. Are the gold necks pretty? Or a self blue or partridge cochin. I think I’ve limited it to these 3 and the red Pyle old English bantam. (Or another Japanese)
I was on the website going to look again, and thought about it more and I ended up going with a Black breasted red old English bantam. It would be a different color than the others. Thanks for the recommendations and suggestions.I think the gold necks are pretty. It's like Mille Fleur, except the speckles are all white instead of black and white. I have silkies and live in south eastern Texas. They need shade is the biggest thing you can provide and open faced coop (it won't trap in that hot heat). Ideal also offers Japanese Bantams (these birds need to stay around 65+ degrees so when we start dipping around the end of December and January have some where indoors or heated for them). You may also like d'Uccles and seem to do well in the heat of Texas.I’m ordering some bantams tomorrow, as I’m starting my first bantam flock. I’m looking to order 8-10 chicks as a start, and I’ll more than likely be ordering from ideal. I have zero experience with bantams except I know a little bit about silkies. I would really like recommendations on breeds. I live in Texas, so it can get 90-100 degrees on hot days so I need some breeds that are pretty heat hardy. The only breed I know I’m for sure getting is some silkies. Thanks for any suggestions and responses,
