Bantams

Um I am not sure i just know they are small an lay small eggs i thought it would be cool to add a few to my flock for kids to enjoy. Is there any you recommend or that look neat.

I have had and still have old English game they are great birds hardy and great mothers very protective great with kids.

There are many bantam breeds some can be flighty and aggressive to other birds.

In Some breeds there is a smaller bantam form
Ex: brahams there is large and bantam variety.

Some bantam thought are true bantams meaning they are always bantam and there is no large breed version.

That depends on what you mean by 'look neat' :) Do you like feathered legs? Muffs and beards? Then maybe d'uccles are something you'd enjoy. Or do you want something crested? Perhaps sultan bantams then. Or you do want something clean-legged but that comes in a lot of colors? Then Old English Game Bantams might be for you. And there are tons more, too.

Seramas are thought to be the worlds smallest chickens I have a little roo currently sweetest thing!!!!sits in my pocket while I cook and eat breackfast!

They need special winter care depending n were you live and most of the time have to be separate from normal sized chickens.
