ok. I need to know ,do banties lay eggs all year round like regular chickens do?Or do they just lay eggs when they want to go broody?I know it sounds stupid. Do they lay in the winter time also?

My bantys lay all year long, except when they go broody and are setting on eggs.

ok, Thanks. SO they lay just like the rest. WHen they are raising chicks. How long dose it take for them to start laying again.?

I think it depends on your winter temps. I had maybe 1 or 2 of my bantams laying last winter, and I have a lot!! It also depends on the breed of chicken, some are more affected by the cold.
