Hi, its been two days and my bantums (daisy and buttercup) have stopped laying (they layed at least 2eggs a day since early January)
. They dont seem to want to come out of their nesting box, they both cuddle up in one box. Also they hardly come out of their to eat or drink, unless I open the hatch at the back and they move.

I have a few questions, if anyone can advise then please HELP!!!

Buttercup did fluff up her feathers, is this cause she is broody?

They were sat on four eggs the last time they laid, unfortunately I did not get to collect them until the third day.... Is this what may have caused them to stop laying and not move.?

Also since then, when I opened the door they ran to their coop door to go in the garden, they dont do this anymore, they look healthy enough>

Please help, sorry new to chicken keeping!

Thanks Jen
