My Pekin hen hatched one chick five weeks ago from a batch of six eggs which were sold to me as "Barbu D'Anver" eggs. I don't really know much about them except they're pure bantam. She's really energetic and tame, she follows me around but her mum doesn't seem to like her much so I put her with my smaller chicks whom she loves. Is it too early to tell gender?
This is her/him:

I can't really get better pictures because she won't stay still.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (:

She looks like she is younger than five weeks. Wait a couple more weeks, then post again. :)

Thank you. I know she/he looks a bit smaller but she's growing every day, she's fully feathered and adorable. I guess it's just because they're a small breed?

As other people have said it's too early to tell what the chick is.

Post another couple of photos in a couple of weeks and then we can have another look!

Goodluck,
Fionn.

She is feathered out a lot, but she still has fluff on her head, and chest.

I know but her feathers are underneath where they're beginning to grow, they're coming in lovely if I do say so. Do you happen to know her colour??
