When you say about two months old, can you try to narrow that to weeks? I have found one persons "two months" is just shy of 8 weeks while another's can be closer to12 weeks and there is a big difference in assessing characteristics in those 4 weeks of change. The pattering of this bird would indicate male for a Barred Plymouth Rock and the chick appears to have some rather healthy pink wattle development showing, which at about two months of age would also be indicative of a cockerel. Just because there is not prominent comb growth yet does not automatically mean pullet. I see more male characteristics than female in this bird.
