bare spot on peacocks neck

one of my peacocks has a bare spot on the back of its neck,,and some missing feathers on its back,,,would this be from mating,,,the way it is with chickens ??? thanks

Maybe another bird is pulling out his feathers. Some birds will peck other birds feathers off like peck their crests off ect.
