 we have 11 hens, 2 reds and 9 isa's, one has some bare spots on her neck, should we isolate her, we tried but she didnt like it. I heard to use pine tar???

There is a product called pick no more supposed to taste bad and helps stop feather picking. Have you seen the others pick on her?

Saw one of the reds pickin at one of the others, unfortunately the hen missing feathers went missing yesterday, :( and now we also have a sick one. We got these chickens as adults, almost 2 1/2 yrs old.

well good news, hubby found the MIA hen, she flipped a box over on top of herself and hubby seen the box moving and went to investigate and their she was starring at him, lol. Glad we found her.

If you can separate the hen that is picking the feathers and remove her from the flock for a weeks it may stop her. If you can increase their protein sometimes they start picking feathers for their protein.
