Barnevelder Love!

Oh they are beautiful! I hatched some bantams last year and ended up with no girls and 2 boys. So slow to mature and I have no double laced beauty queen for lovely dark eggs 😭 and two extra boys I don't need in my flock. So gutted. I got the eggs from a show breeder as well. Bad luck!

Got some better pics of my little ones. Are they Barnevelder? Not sure if the feathers look right, or will that change as they get older?
Pics of mine as babies...

It could be. I know the coloring seems to support that, but at this age I would think there would be something that would scream cockerel and I am just not seeing it yet. I will be sure to update with photos when I know for sure, I am keeping it regardless of boy or girl :)

I have two that I got about 5 weeks ago. Hoping they're both pullets! they are beautiful chickens, can't wait to see final feathers.
Cute little chick you have :)
Sorry, but my predictions are two boys here as well. Hope I'm wrong!

Barneys are SO slow growing, it may be ages until you know for sure
