I love barnevelder roosters. They are good looking, and usually gentle boys.

Good to know! I got him and another chick from the Barnevelder pullet box at tsc. Ended up with one roo and one pullet! My first experience with this breed but definitely keeping himI love barnevelder roosters. They are good looking, and usually gentle boys.

He's a handsome boy!! I received 2 barnevelders in a rare pullet assortment and I wouldn't be opposed at all to one turning out to be a roo. lol
My barnevelder is very gentle and protects his hens. I have 2 other roosters who are bantams and they all get along. He was supposed to be a she. I ordered 3 pullets but ended up with only 2.
