A local breeder. I hatched the first 12... the second set of Barnvelders I got as “5day olds” with a group of sapphires 7/10 cockerels there... so out of the last 14 chicks I had one death (pasty butt with the poop and down pulled off), coccidiosis, and 9/13 survivors are male... not getting chicks anymore!
I’ll just get more hatching eggs at least that’s 6/6, it was 6/7 (cockerels/pullets) but I lost one to the coccidiosis I think the new chicks brought with them (they had slightly bloody poop on and off since they got home, at first I thought just stress cause it went away, then I lost my favorite pullet from my hatch and there were 2 big bloody poops in their brooder).
