Barnyard Surprises

50 sounds perfect to me. I don't raise it until I see an external.

Started lock down. Candled. One egg peeped. Wow.

Couple chicken eggs in question. Left all 31 in.
Pulled 2 quail. One hand turn & one not.

Guessing a couple of the other shadows are internal pips. This may be a long hatch. One had a huge air cell.

Eggs collected over several days. May have given a few a head start.

Very interesting.

You may have warmer spots in the bator too.

4 Pipped eggs. 1 large brown. 3 smaller browns. I read last night that Bantam hatch early. There are supposed to be Dominiques not bantams. Hmm. 21 days to pip. They are talking up a storm. Sounded like at least 2 making noise. We are hopeful. The quail eggs were looking later in development. Could be they will be behind the chickens. Warm spot in the incubator or not.
