Barred Brahma

I am currently developing a Barred Brahma. Already have a correct Barred Brahma rooster and a barred brahma hen. Has anyone tried this project in the past? I would appreciate any info or pointers!

are they truly Barred? like Barred Rocks? or are they Cuckoo like Cuckoo Marans? even if its the same gene at play here(Dominant Sex Linked Barring B) other genes are at play to make a truly barred pattern bird..
