Barred Cochin 6.5 weeks

I've been operating under the assumption that this was a roo almost from the beginning based on general fearlessness and slower feathering, etc. But I feel like there should be more comb color and growth by now if he is indeed a he?? This is the only Barred Cochin I have, so it's hard to compare. I also have an obvious pullet Buff Cochin, but it's hard to compare them because she has developed a lot faster and is bigger. Despite that, I did notice some red waddles that the buff gal doesn't have yet. They seem to have grown overnight!

Anyway, I know people usually want hens, but I just really love the idea of a rooster who loves me like Bucky does Is there still hope?

I'd lean girl. Usually combs seem to develop faster, and she looks more like my girl than my boy patternwise

I say pullet. My Cochin (Bantams) seem to have really red combs, really early.
