Barred Experts please read!

I have barred rocks - i was simply curious as to how like blue barred and even chocolate barred birds are made - what colors may be used - genetic wise ?

Huh i would not have imagines it would be that easy - so the barring pattern is dominant and takes on the colors you mix in?

Yes.

This can be done, but it takes several generations. Also, part of the barred rock's beautiful barring is the feathering rate, that will change drastically when you cross to get a different color in there. You'll get the colors you want in the second or third generation, but they won't be nearly as beautiful as they will be in ten or so years. Keep us all updated on your progress!
