Barred or Dominique ?

So aside from legs and comb, what makes them different from one another?
Barred Rocks are actually Plymouth rocks that have the barred pattern , which is the description of the color. Plymouth rocks come in different colors. Doms only come is the barred patterns'. The doms pattern is darker with more contrast and more of a V'ed to the barring. The rocks are lighter and barred in more of a liner pattern. Some production chickens also have a barred pattern and it gets tricky telling them apart.
Plymouth rocks are also sturdier larger in build than Doms. Rocks tend to have larger eggs and since dual purpose are a little meatier.
