It is VERY rare for us to sell a grown hen of any breed. We insist on you showing us your coop! They are used to being safe and deserve to continue being safe. Predator proof coop is a must! Chicken wire is not predator proof.

These two hens are 3 years old, Lizzie is a couple of months older than Tessa, both daughters of my Atlas with the pure Marvin Stukel hens. Atlas himself is 3/4 heritage Marvin Stukel line Barred Rock. Both hens in good shape, currently laying & very good layers of jumbo eggs.
MUST be together! Will not sell just one.

Both have the broody tendency. Lizzie has raised chicks once. Tessa has gone broody several times, but I have never let her have eggs (she is a cobra on the nest when she's broody and sometimes, when she isn't, and she can be just a grumpy heifer, period, just a warning). They have been together their whole lives, Liz is dominant and very bossy with sister, Tessa. They were wormed awhile back and since it's time again, will worm them again prior to the sale. Lizzie's poop has always been loose, even giving her probiotics and worming so not sure why, it's just her, apparently. She's certainly not skinny, by any means!

I am letting these go because they cannot be bred with their sire, who is a dwarf gene carrier we discovered very late, and one or both could also possibly be, too, or neither. We've never hatched their eggs that I recall. The other BR rooster will not accept them in his flock (he's super picky).

A dwarf gene, if either carries, does not affect their health in any way whatsoever. They are big, beautiful hens and excellent layers at their age. For an explanation of the thyrogenous dwarf gene, see my article here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/thyrogenous-dwarfism-in-poultry.72684/
Asking $5 cash each because of their ages.
Must be picked up here, no shipping, no meeting to be stood up somewhere, sorry.
