Hi Aaron, thank you for your reply. I think I got him a home, but my next door neighbor has a Rhode island red that he will have to find a new home for once he starts crowing much. Where do you live? Thanks again. My girls want to find nice homes for them and yours sounds great. I also ordered 4 new eggs to hatch and will get them next Friday, so chances are I will have another rooster in that bunch! Really appreciate it. Kat

he is the same age as mine I hatched them at the same time, born around Jan 1st. I don't know if he has started to crow (I haven't heard him) but I will ask my neighbor when I see him next

Aw cool! I've always wanted to try and hatch eggs I have a American Game bantam hen and she lays eggs and sits on them all day but we don't think they will hatch because she's not fertile.But I've never like tired hatching eggs but I wanted too!!! HEY Do' know say if I ordered her a few eggs do you think April would lay on them and raise them as her own if they are a different breed do you know if it's possible or does it have to be the same type of chicken..

But yeah let me know how he's doing and everything we let miss Kellogg out all day and at night it's cute cause she just walks to her house and craws I'm her bed her little cage.
