I have 2 barred plymouth rock chicks. They are 3 weeks old today. The first set of pictures is Scout. I suspect Scout is a roo, but an hoping and praying not. I already have a rooster and can't have another (I only have 5 hens).
Can someone please help me?
Here are the pictures.

Scout (barred plymouth #1)

Phoebe (2nd barred plymouth rock)

As you can see, the 2nd chick has much more tail feather growth (just like the golden laced wyandotte I have that is also 3 weeks old). Their combs aren't much different and I don't see a difference in their legs or feet.

Please help! If one is a roo I need to find a home for him ASAP!

So far, they both look like pullets, though they're a little young to be sure. Tail feather growth is not a reliable method of sexing.

I hope you're both right! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
