I've thought of quitting my job and starting a dog food business lately, but it's just recently that I decided to look more into it. I'm trying to put my dog on raw, and have heard some great things about it, so I know that I want to make raw dog food. I want chickens that I raise to be a number one source of meat for the business, and of course I will add in the other things. Please do not respond with negative comments. I am just looking for a little bit of help on the chickens subject. I wanted chickens that are dual-purpose, because I want good meat, and I might need the bribe of fresh eggs to convince neighbors that chickens will be a good thing. I heard that Barred Plymouth Rocks are good dual purpose chickens. Can anyone prove or disprove this fact? At what age should you cull them?
