Barred Plymouth Rocks 8 weeks Monday

Guesses anyone? Barred Rocks will be 8 weeks in 2 days, frizzle cochin is almost 11 weeks.

I figured Olive was likely Oliver, glad I can officially rename.

So 11 week old frizzle is a roo too? That's a bummer. I was afraid that was the case, but his brother is a lot more obvious at this point.
 
You're breaking my heart, but I'm not really surprised.
I'm not 100% sure. They are young. On the other side of the coin- there is nothing wrong with having males except less eggs.. I have a ton of boys. It's kind of noisy but nice to have them hanging out with me.


Generally I look at the size of the drum sticks when I sex birds. You really only posted comb pix. So I could be wrong.. :)

You don't have problems with them fighting? I've got 13, with 2 definite roos and then these 3 possible.

I wouldn't know how to keep peace, and I doubt my neighbors would appreciate 5 roosters crowing. I think I'm going to have to pick 1 to keep. At least one is a dick, so that makes it a bit easier.

How do you sex a frizzle other than comb and wattles? Do they develop any type of saddle feathers?
